Thought I would let the group know of my recent experience at Profeet this Saturday.
Now, I know that Solutions4Feet has its very loyal supporters on this board (most likley for very good reasons), but Profeet was excellent.
I met up with Ben Godden at a bright and early 9am start, and it was a professional experience all the way. I took in my own 2012 Atomic Hawx, and got some new footbeds, and alot of stretching done on the problems areas. These boots are tight (size 27, with around 13mm in a shell check), so there was some work needed on them. Alignment was checked, footbeds done, the footboard was shaved done a bit to give some more room, and I even had a go on one of those Skiiers Edge things, where a video was taken and then analysed to check that all was aligned correctly.
All in all, a very good experience, and come highly recommended from me.
As its snowing in Norway today, I'll get to try them out in a few weeks

Pleased to hear it. I've not been there for ski boots, but always get my running shoes from there. They are excellent.

How much was this? Sister in law lives around the corner and was considering having mine done next time am down there. Also how long did it take?

Lilledonmarco, Did you get the Hawx blown out or stretched near the front of the boot? If so, how did it go? The reason I ask is that my boots need blowing out near little toe but the soft rubbery stuff on the sides (elastomet..something) don't like being stretched and keep bouncing back.

there are no issues stretching that area on the hawx, just needs enough heat and time

Exactly, CEM. They did apply some heat to that area, and stretched it a little. They also gave the big toes another punch. In 6 weeks, I'll be on them on the local hill.
One interesting thing is that he said that for my next boot I should look into the head vectras, as he thought that they would be a great match for my foot shape... Something to consider in a few years.
