The 2013 calendar has just arrived and looks fantastic! All orders placed today, Thursday Dec. 20th, before 5.30pm will be mailed today and should, according to the Post Office, arrive in time for Christmas.

Yes! The sooner we get a great selection uploaded and the choices made, the easier it is for us to have the calendars printed and posted well before Christmas!
Just add your photos from the 2011/2012 season here 
As always, please restrict yourself to a maximum of 3 photos, and remember - they must all have been taken in the 2011 / 2012 season!
So - sort through your winter snaps that you've taken so far and get uploading!
All photos must be uploaded and ratings made before midday Friday 16th November 2012. This will give people the chance to see them and vote!
If you’ve already uploaded photos that you’d like considered for inclusion, you can use the ‘edit’ function to copy them across to the Vintage 2012 collection. Please remember to submit only pictures to which you own copyright or, if not, have written permission of the copyright owner for publication.
Just a reminder (to avoid confusion) - As with previous year's photos, the final choice will be guided by the ratings as opposed to defined by them as we need to match the images to their applications and need to ensure some balance and variation throughout the set.

Postage is the same for one or two but it doesn't add up to send 3 or 4 in one envelope so if you need more than 2 please do so with multiple orders.

Yoda, joedesperado, personally I don't mind who submits the photos any more than I mind whether they've been taken on a £10 Nokiphone or a £10k Nikon 32megapixie TLR with auto-star-filter.
There's no prize to be won other than a free calendar and the warm glow of pride when your month comes round and snowHeads everywhere enjoy the pleasure of 'revealing your shot'.
Frankly, I'd like to think that snowHeads-kids stand as good a chance here, no more no less, than a passionate amateur or a seasoned pro who, let's face it, is effectively giving us their work for nothing

I forgot to say, I think we should welcome photos from anyone, pro or not, long-term regular member or not.
If we get lucky enough to have a lot of pro, semipro, excellent amateurs etc sharing their work for free, and it really creates a problem with "crowding out" the photos taken by regular members, we can always have two calendars - by "regular snowheads" and "visitors". But, most likely, we'll have one calendar with better pics overall.

The final calendar pics will be released tomorrow and will also be available to order tomorrow, with the shipping date in time for Christmas due to be Wednesday Dec. 19th. Successful photographers will be notified separately.

Excited to see the new calendars...and itching to order a couple for our teenagers who will be missing their annual ski trip due to exams this year, so I shall tease them with photos. Any sign yet???
