DebbiDoesSnow, It is in Montalbert so difficult for you to get to at night. There is a great pizza place in 1800 that serve the biggest pizzas you have EVER seen. I am not kidding!

DebbiDoesSnow, I agree but you need to try one of these huge pizzas! Restaurant right next to lift in 1800 - it burnt down 2 summers ago and has been rebuilt bigger and better. Someone will be along with the name - having a blond moment and can't remember. His Lordship will take a photo as he passes through tomorrow and post it for us!

They are very good if a little OTT on the cheese.
With thehigher sun it may be all right but in feb it was a lunch stop to be in the sun.

Update from his Lordship. He was getting the croissants about 9.15am and intended to be out on the slopes shortly after.
First text informs me that there are NO LIFT QUEUES ANYWHERE. Well we could have predicted that with holidays nearly over. Sunny day and snow is good. Latest text was a photo of him posing on what looks like an off piste area close to piste. This time however he is upright and not with his face in powder as previous holiday. He is obviously improving his off piste technique.
Am expecting a lunch text which will tell me in details where he is and what he is eating. If I could work the technology I would be posting the photos..............

Conditions are very good, certainly better than this time last year, it's fairly quiet and easy to find areas not tracked out and all mashed up.
