My pleasure! Yesterday was sunny and the snow good first thing, very soft by last thing. Woke up to snow this morning, trees are white again and forecast is to stay snowing til the weekend

A new week of beginners yesterday and the snow fine in the village, soft but ok. Mixture of sun and cloud forecast with some snow tomorrow. The season is hanging on to the end!

Yesterday was gorgeous, sunshine and great snow. Snowing again now, today is the last day of Ski School, lifts close on Monday so this will be my last weather report of this season! I wish everyone a great Summer and will be back with my reports next season. Carolyn

Yes, 9th I think. They are appearing every now and then for cleaning. There is still snow dotted about on Tennladen and Rosskopf, and it has been mid twenties for ages now!

Hey, that would be fun, would love to meet you, I was probably here when you came all those years ago!! We have had a fabulous sunny and warm Summer and are now starting to need the snow!

It seems to have been a great summer all round this year so pleased it was good for Niederau too. It was just 2C this morning in Les Gets when we got up so much chillier round here now. We are staying at the Austria - we haven't stayed there before but popped in for the odd drink or two.

We were lucky last year. It snowed quite heavily every night, but only a little during the day, when I was there. I'm hoping for the same again this season. Looking at 1st week of Feb again.
I stayed in the Austria 3 years ago. It was very nice and in a great location. For me personally I prefer to stay in the Harfenwert because of it's proximity to the easier beginner's slope, but the Austria is better positioned for everything else. I just find the beginner's slope by Bobbo's difficult to get onto the bottom of with my arthritic knees. It's not so bad once I am actually standing on the skis. The other advantage of the Austria is that you go down in the lift (or use the stairs) inside the building directly into the Blachfelder ski and hire shop where the service is excellent.

Am looking forward to Christmas in Niederau again. Carolyn, will there be a carol concert again? We had a stroppy 3 year old last year that scuppered our plans to go.

We had some pre season snow on Friday - about a foot right over the village - still here but melting in the sunshine! Gives us a taste of what is just around the corner

Ah, ok well the snow has been practising and we have had some good frosts now. The snow cannons are starting to appear on the slopes and ski gear in the shops. Not long to go now.........
