None of those...
“Bleak” - no, stunning world class scenery here ( just poor camera work). No trees visible in any direction though.

I know I said Cervinia earlier, but is it the Zermatt side (the Glacier)?
No...not Zermatt... that is a glacier underneath the skis though

Sorry, no. I'm taking the "Alta" guess as a need for more clues! .... world class ski mountains, glaciers and heritage, lots of people train here (all year round) and it sounds like you'd come for a steak and a crepe suzette (in the 70's).

No, although the Bernese Oberland sounds like it should be the multi storey parking for the hostelry serving the 70's steak and crepes suzette... if that helps.

No... Bernese Oberland only sounds like it's connected... I meant "sounds like" literally (ie a homophone). Anyway, big clues now that 24 hrs have passed: - the top (the homophonic restaurant is just above the lad's helmet)

Good job I'd given up on trying to work out the Crepe Suzette clue. I didn't actually know there was summer skiing there till I looked it up, though maybe I should have got it earlier as I think a posted a picture of Diavolezza at some point back on the previous thread
Let's try this:

Distinctive peak. Lift terminus immediately above tree line. Avi barriers. Has an opposing valley face from which photo taken. Very steep chair top right... must be easy to guess if you’ve ever been there. Pass

Back to you @Wildsmith, yes it's Grimentz. The photo was taken from the Weisshorn hotel, off the edge of the St Luc ski area, and the peak in the middle is the Bec de Bosson (which I think is more distinctive from a different angle, which I could have posted as a later clue)
