Poster: A snowHead

Only just snow/ice related, a mate of mine was made redundant last year. With his pay off he's bought an ice cream van and is self employed. He play's dixie tunes every time he passes my office (several times a day usually) making us all laugh. His reg is 99 YUM and if your out and about in Poole you may well have spotted/heard him.

I generally don't understand the desire to stick your name on something... or was I the only one who hated having name tags on everything at school?
That said, I had to admire the ingenuity of someone who had seen the potential in MYK 155 X...

M1 south of Doncaster last week saw G2 SNOW,
and on a Range Rover in the hotel car park: SPL 1FF ( or numbers that looked like that from a distance). Can't quite think how they let that one out without a murmur...

I could never understand why people spend a lot of money on personalised number plates, wouldn't it be much cheaper to change your name to suit the reg?

There used to be someone in Edinburgh who had 50 BER. I think the story was that he had been done for drink driving in the past.

Not private but noticed one of my neighbours has F IS as the letters on his/her plates. German plates are town - F being Frankfurt, followed by two letters then two or three numbers. Naturally I spend my days looking for people with F AT or F UK and giggling childishly.
