Nomination and vote are supposed to be the same thing according to the rulez. So why has snowheads less than the 50 nominations/votes required to get on the list?
Who put Meteo Chance, the worlds worst weather service up there?
Snowheads has no chance as it doesn't appear on any of the paper based voting slips.

No. They seem to have changed where they direct you.....probably they never intended for people to see how the voting was progressing. Still, at least we're listed and get more publicity

homphomp, good idea. I voted for guess who some time back - not because it really is the best winter web site in my opinion (it's only just becoming more than an excellent discussion forum) but in the interests of generating free publicity. It's rapidly heading towards being a world beater with some of U's new ideas. Maybe next year .....

Also nominated my bar The Flying Squirrel under Best Bar, but need another 49 nominations to make the list... (plus I have only just changed the name - it used to be called Les Ecureuils, so all a bit confusing!)

To add to the mystery and intrigue, I have only nominated it as "The Flying Squirrel" with no refernce to the resort etc. (well, by accident, but it would make me laugh if it got on the shortlist and everyone goes "Where???")
PG, I did the first season with the old name Les Ecureuils, but got fed up with (a) people assuming it would still be run by the old owners (a French couple in their 60s, more fonduey than my "beer and steaks" approach), and (b) no Brits (to an extent including myself) can pronounce "ecureuils" properly. And whether its a good thing or not, Brits are your key market if you want to make a profit!!
The other squirrels ran off to a land flowing with milk and, erm, nuts. Ungrateful little bushy-tailed rats!
