Talking of Easyjet, I notice they are flying Gatwick-Innsbruck 6 times a week from December. That is a lot of extra capacity and i would expect to see some very low fares.

I recently booked Bristol - Innsbruck, really cheap and it opens up a huge alternative for me. I am looking forward to some good hols in Austria this season.

Austria is definitely back on my shopping list with the flights we got from coventry to salzburg for 2.50 each. It's a much more affordable option than France.

TomazH, or playing cricket for Worcester, ollski, better fun there too, I went to St Anton via Heathrow/Zurich last year and had a great time, but Bristol/Innsbruck should take about 4 hours off the transfer from home to resort for me.

The incompetance surely lies with the company and not the individual. It is they that have made individual look incompetant. The Newcastle GVA scenario has been a mess from the start with confusion being the major player. I for one was convinced by the timetables and wwords used on the website that the route had been binned. We usually end up driving to Manchester, EMA or even Stansted to fly and the Easyjet delays have been annoying. Fortunately it hasmade no difference to me.
Easyjet are now a big company and IMHO big companies are usually very poor at organising basic stuff.

That is good going, since it only takes 2 hours to get from Bristol to Heathrow

You signed up to a web forum (so should fully expect to see posts that are ski related... derrr) and I posted up something that, clearly, some others have found useful. It simply isnt spam. No, I do not work for Easyjet or even fly with them. Just happened to see a piece on their new routes on Natives thats all. I am not flogging my bootfitting services or hoping you will enjoy renting my flea-infested apartment or trying to pretend I am a ski instructor offering free advice.
Like I said before, this forum is petty and appears to be policed by a clique of spotty schoolboys as named above. Other forums are more welcoming and accepting of the whole spectrum of views. For some reason you idiots are suspicious of new people and do your best to hound out anyone with any meaningful opinion. Ive seen this before on here. I look forward to trampling on the backs of your skis.

TomazH, Spamming can be rather more than that limited definition of spam. I suggest you look around a bit before you throw your toys out of your pram, or just go and buy yourself a sense of humour. I do however think that the title of this thread should be "Partial incompetence" rather than "total incompetence".
In the meantime I look forward to seeing a post from you on any other topic. When you start your posting career here by defending a fairly poor performance from an airline, and then in the next breath give "news" of its service improvement, you must expect to arouse suspicions of your motives.

stoatsbrother, if you'd been paying attention you would have noticed that I haven't defended the airline. I merely stood up for an airline employee who didn't deserve to be named and shamed when there was no evidence that SmokinJoe's problem was caused by the incompetence of the individual.

Oh my goodness,  s rocks! I've been away for a bit and what a joy it is to return to pages of argument, pomposity, rudeness and general aggro on a topic that is at best unimportant and at worst terminally boring. This thread IS snowHeads in microcosm, it's even got admin doing his Joyce-Grenfell-leans-over-backwards-to-be-polite-and-emollient-yet-didactic routine (and a very charming routine it is too  ).
Now, TomazH, where and when, exactly, did stoatsbrother suggest you should start your posting career "in a humble fashion"? This is simply not something he or most other s would have said. In fact, as a general rule, s don't 'do' humble, so you should fit in just fine. But if, as seems not unlikely, you are also intending to join the pedants' brigade - there are many pedants hereabouts, some self-confessed, some in denial - you must expect to have your own posts analyzed in some detail. So, please do point us in the direction of any stated requirement for humility.
