Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@ulmerhutte, Salober restaurant is very reasonable and excellent quality, as is Punschutte

Is Salober the same restaurant as S1? If so, then I agree with sentiments. Had quite a few enjoyable meals there. I also like the bright and airy feel of it.

@Langerzug... yeah, I also think that Lech prices are not "too bad", and not that much different to the rest of the Arlberg. That said, we eat simple meals for lunch, at on-mountain restaurants. No idea how the upmarket restaurants compare.

@ulmerhutte, there are many nice places in Oberlech where you can get a pasta for 12 euro.

I have been to Lech many times and it only improves. There are good options on accommodation in pension if you are happy not to ahve full hotel service. All the hotels welcome non resident for drinks dinner so a walka round the river and a drink at any of the hotels in the evening post dinner is very relaxing. Courchevel has some easier skiing but less charm . there is a daily bus direct to Lech from the Zurich airport Arlberg express very good 80 euros return.
