Oh dear!!! I thought for one horrible moment I'd inadvertently slipped in an americanism. After feverish research I did discover that, here in England, we did previously use the verb 'plow' as opposed to the more modern 'plough'. It went out of fashion sometime in the 16th Century. Sort of sums me up doesn't it?

Rob, no they do not have much interest in turning!! TBH, I think DH is just too straight. Much of the course is quite wiggly and they only really help a pussy like me on the long traverses.
