johnE and boredsurfin, it is fun finding these mini ski areas. I understand they are dotted all over the place. There is even at least one drag lift on the other side of the valley somewhere above Aime.

@boredsurfin, Thanks for that really useful information. If the snow is good, lift passes at 8 or 12 euro is good value in beautiful surroundings is pretty good value. One of the lifts in NDduP (it looks like a password  ) appeared not to have a cable on it. The area was absolutely georgous. And if you ae looking for some good sport climbing, especially to take beginners it is the best I have ever visited. In fact the next time I am in Les Arcs I will pack a picnic and drive over to it for a whole day.

which includes a few pictures - the main earth works are nearing completion by the sounds of things and the construction of lift stations can begin soon.

Anyone got any idea when the rechargeable passes become available on line to recharge and whether La Plagne will be offering the discount again for early purchase.
