CEM,

Yes i make some money out of race boots but not out of fitting members of the national squad, that is done free of charge |
Clearly a loss leader that your regular customers foot the bill for.

PJSki, absolutley not, i own the business, i can give my time away as i see fit, all the work we do for the racers is over the summer months when we are quieter so not affecting other customers in any way...for what it is worth if you feel that our retail customers foot the bill for us working with the racers then please feel free not to bother coming here for boots, fitting or anything else for that matter

CEM, I have no plans to get any boots fitted by you. Why would I when I can get it gone in resort, with the add benefit of being able to get the fit tweaked if need be while I'm still in the mountains rather than 600miles away?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

PJSki, thats a shame, CEM could have sold tickets for us to come and watch.

So, did Chemmy get all £3,430?
Hurtle, the whole amount went to Chemmy as that appeared to concur with the general consensus.
The total amount pledged was £3480 of which £3450 was eventually received.
£2140 of that was transferred via paypal transactions that required charges deducting (ie not paypal gift and not via the snowAccount page which adds the charge on top). These charges came to £76.91
Chemmy got £3373.09

You know it makes sense.

admin, great. Good for her. Thanks. (Bet the £0.09 came in handy for something. )
