Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I have a day off today, first for about a fortnight and the good news is I get paid anyway, as it was work cancelled at 7-30am! Guess I ought to get on with something useful rather than sit here though rolling eyes. Mr B had a birthday last Friday, and the look on his face when he unwrapped a pair of ski socks... Twisted Evil Twisted Evil . I keep telling him skis are far easier to control than a horse, and his having learned to ride from the age of about 2 means he will be a natural - I do hope I am right!

I'm afraid I didn't get up there today. when I woke up my back was really bad, so I wasted the whole morning lying on my electric blanket, and the rest of the day doing short spurts of work in between lying back down again. Sad I've now run out of packing time etc, so that's your lot. sorry. For the record it was a nice day, and DavidAsh told me it was good up there. Twisted Evil

You (and Fred) may be interested to know that a lady from USC is interviewing me and I may end up in a journal article. She works with children like me - focused on building neural pathways to improve their abilities later in life. We have had one very interesting talk and are due for another soon.

This is the first thread I look at whenever I'm on snowHead's. As ever, huge thanks to you and others in resort for your sterling work in posting daily reports & photos. I, for one, appreciate it immensely.

thanks everyone. shutdown imminent for 36 hours! BTW all nursery slopes still complete today - amazing. Sure they're very 'lake-like' at the bottom, but still! Diable still complete and that's without cannons. Very Happy Skis in van ready for SCOTLAND! Very Happy

easiski, hope your back improves ready for the long drive & that Scotland is fun. While you're all playing up there, we will be on the IOW - more duty that pleasure but at least a break.

Thanks for all the effort uploading regular pics/reports which are much appreciated. I look forward to the next set after you've had some well earned time off.
