If we've not had anything in a few weeks and cheap flights are about, it's gonna be sacked. May not necessarily be Saalbach tho, we were talking about taking the trip on the road, will see where who's going wants to go.

Why not you plan to go to Ischgl anyway instead of Saalbach and then one way or another we can all go to Ischgl even if the Snowheads Birthday Bash turns out to be someplace else?

Ischgl has always had its regular well healed Germans who will pay their prices so don't need to do deals... it is why not many TO's go there.
I looked at 4 *'s about 5 years ago and they wanted £645 a week in late Jan then...IIRC..

What's the budget then in £ for that week? How much is it normally per person Charlatanefc including flights, transfers, accomodation etc etc excluding beer money? Did you go self catering last time or half board? I went self catering once and I found I spent a lot more than I do when I have a catered chalet/half board hotel. Nice in a chalet when the wine is included.

Then again Easyjet flights should be out end of this month so that will affect how much the separates route will cost. Might work out cheaper than a tour op, might not.

VolklAttivaS5, half board is not good. Have a few fussy eaters in the party, and the last two times we went half board we didn't bother with the meals, they were a waste of time. Would that hotel be cheaper than 35 euros a night?
