Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi @kitenski, any still photos? Looks like good snow cover. I just put a couple of photos on the snowheads Piste section from my 2 days on Scottish snow the same week. Of course I had to skin up about 1300 metres on each of the two days, for my 4 descents, but at least I had the access lifts available in the West.

2nd tour up Glencoe, access chair up then a rocky walk to the snowline!

Quick question, reckon I need a voile strap to keep my tips together on the backpack, as when I was hiking up/down the back of my legs were catching on the skis when I had one each side. Couldn't do a diagonal carry as my helmet was strapped to the back.

So what length voile do I need to get please?

Approx 2x tip width?. I'd have thought all would do the job but as they are so good doing jobs including powerstrap on your boot and general tie downs once you'll probably want a few.

Double check the height of the Freeride Spacers as they need to be spot on.

@BobinCH, If you are stuck for Christmas presents for the mini-freeriders................get them indoctrinated early into the DPS way. Check out their other listings as well, it looks like they bought one of everything from the Junior Norrona range as well Very Happy

I've had a pair of these sitting in their wrapping in a Switzerland for the past year rolling eyes . Hopefully I get to get my hands on them in the not too distant future. At least I ordered the bindings to Bristol Laughing

What ski poles are those? I initially thought they were slalom course poles in the corner of the cabin.
