Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

miranda, Hells Bells, The cheapest Amarone in Majestic is £22.

We have a really good personal contact in Italy who sells wine to us (we stock both French and Italian wines) so I am aware of the cost price. Averaging out at £17.50 for the wine, £17.50 for the platter... sounds fair enough I guess - still doesn't strike me as astonishingly cheap but I'd happily purchase it.

under a new name, yes, as I said averaging out (the meat and cheese platter doesn't actually cost the same) but, also, maybe I'm missing something... you can get higher and lower quality Amarone?

oh, and you might have realised that we don't mark up by x3 Laughing

You don't have an obsessive number of posts to your name?

BTW,............... lunch for 2 ...........including bottle of Amarone about £35

Finally this thread got interesting

mmmm... groseilles, viande de grisons - but obviously the Italian version...

Frankly, a platter like this with a Spring alpine view in the sunshine after a morning guided on spring snow is without price. You will not live to count days like that over 2 hands (unless you serve the platters or are the guide). So 10/20/50/100/250/500/1000 euros , £ whatever - Just inhale deeply and deal with it when you get home.

If you want to ski up and down mileage pistes cheaply best deal is probably Hemel in May.

Wise words!
