Fantastic holiday, was laughing from the minute we arrived at Manc til the minute we left Dwarf Vader and Fenland Skier where it all began 10 days previous.
Highlight for me must have been the 18 hour daytrip we had to zell, skiing from 8:30ish in 4 inches of fresh powder til finishing after the lifts had shut, then apresing in Zell from 5pm til 2am in the Crazy Daisy, then diving out the cab at our local in Saalbach to make it a 20 hour day, finally leaving the pub at gone 4am  There's a corker of a pic of blytht and Duckfoot when our kid shows up with his camera.
Also, my thoughts to Lickle Linds for trying to keep her chin up and make the best of it when she was obviously so peed off.
Ok then peeps, who's up for the same week next year in Zermatt?
Big Kudos also to the big fella himself, FTS, was his usual impeccable company, and his kids are a credit to him and Mrs FTS.

Would also like to add my thanks to both Charlatanefc, & Frosty the Snowman for ensuring I had a brilliant holiday, nice job fellas!! Ok, time to get the awards started...
1. Blytht - the TOMTOM award for an outstanding sense of direction
2. Linds - the SUREFOOT award for the inability to effectively move away from the apres ski without planks on feet
3. Dwarf Vader - the NOW YOU SEE HIM, NOW YOU DON'T award for being faster in the direction of the WC than he was on the slopes

Dunno why I am getting thanked. All I did was arrange some B&B. The Scouse beer monster deserves the plaudits. I was only there for 3 nights but considering it was the busiest period in the local area holiday calendar I thought it terrific. In a way i am glad that no places could be found in the "BIG" resorts as it gave us a chance to experience some of the less well known places. A full trip report to follow.
BTW if in the future any snowhead texts or phones me after the hour of 10pm then I will hunt you down and shoot you like a dog.
My thanks to charlatanefc for the organisation, You Raang? for the overnight stop, and a big thank you to family Flangesax for their help and assistance in booking. Yes there were some hot water issues on the 1st night but a huge thanks for the runs to the hire shop, returning the hire gear, booking extra off site beds, allowing us to book in late, allowing us to book out late and use facilities etc etc. I would certainly stay there again. A shame that Ben was injured and could not ski with us.
Charlatanefc, you have done Zermatt, I think Ishgl should be top of your list.

5. fenlandskier - The Blatantly Obvious But Deeply Cutting award. When observing the Frosticles tackle a rather gnarly bit of off piste with bounce and dexterity he was heard to say: "hmmm, so they ski nothing like their Dad then"

did everyone return home with the correct ski boots?????? Mine have disappeared - Ben thinks he may have taken them back to the ski hire shop with the hire stuff - but they dont have them!
One good thing has come out of this - I now have a nice new pair of boots - and the old ones really hurt so no love lost!
Glad you all had a good time - sorry about the hot water on the first night - always tricky when everyone wants to shower at once - I think someone was having a nice long shower!

Ah yes, I'd forgotten the "I know an easy, scenic way down" award, which goes to Eeyore
Seriously, that day in Zell was one of the best days I've ever had - I remember being gutted when there wasn't time to catch that last chair again - then we lost Eeyore in the 100 yards down the slope from the bar and ended up chasing down to catch the gondola with 5 mins to spare, only to catch her us as we got there, proving the she obviously straight-lines the mountain and tucks it out every time no one is looking
As for the rest of you, I think you know I had an absolute blast. Thanks to Scousetours for the organisation, FTS for the last bit, and the rest of you for making it a great trip, and not taking the p*** out of me once...
