Not sure the insta on the helmet works for me, all I see if the big helmet!! Can you change the angle so the helmet is less visible??? I think the stick approach allows more skier angles.
Hopefully this comes across as feedback rather than me being an back bottom!! Love the pics and am learning about 360cameras myself

^ +1. I'm not the biggest fan of the fishbowl/fisheye look of the 360 footage generally, but either you've cropped more or the POV makes a difference but it looks less distorted in your footage.
Great conditions by the look of it. I've not hit the snow this year (or last for more than a couple of days) so I'm proper jealous.

@BobinCH, I hear you were on the same bit of hill as my brother yesterday? Something about a helicopter...
And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Yep we kept Air Glacier busy. Broken femur...
So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Been in Verbier the last few days. Impressive place, I'll be back when it snows next year.
You know it makes sense.

@BobinCH, your femur or someone elses??? Good luck to whoever broke it! I did mine in Verbier many many years ago!

@BobinCH, yuck; hope your mate makes a speedy recovery. Looks like a clean break (so clean I can't work out what's wrong with it!).

Bec was looking a bit wind affected this morning
Petit Bec on the other hand was looking peachy!
Went for a quick scout which confirmed
Was juniors first Bec adventure so let him lead the bootpack
Donkey brought up the rear
Nice creative line choice finding the freshies in the right aspect
Yes. It’s usually used for the women’s comp but this year everyone went on this face due to the poor condition of the top part

Stuck the Insta360 on a pole out the top of the backpack. A bit far back (so too much of my noggin) and seems it wobbled around a bit, but I really like the ability to pan around on the edit. Snow better than expected after only 5cm reported

@BobinCH, are you still going/allowed to tour at all? Or road bike season in full swing??

We are touring. There’s still a lot of snow up high. Haute Route Verbier to Zermatt plannned next week weather permitting - another 30cm in the forecast.
Tonight’s training:
@BobinCH, thanks for updates this year. Almost felt like skiing at times. It's weird, usually you'd be jealous but just seeing someone skiing was actually good for the soul. Well done.

A bit of 360 footage down the M25 as it softened. Held a selfie stick with the (shortened) pole. A bit fisheye distorted as it pans out. Prefer it on the helmet
