Great - thanks everyone. It's hard to tell from a map isn't it....so appreciate your help and wise words. Cheers

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

rutlandchris, Belle Plagne is really not that big. Your ski-down-lift-up idea is interesting, but not sensible. Just walk up: it won't be very far and much less hassle. |
Yes probably easier. If going through the buildings is too complex, then you can always walk up the underground car park to avoid slogging up the piste.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We did a holiday many years ago with kids in Belle Plagne and we were at the bottom, its so small its not an issue. Its car free and an amazing location to stay with kids so don't worry.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@Jonpim, looks like a nice shiny new lift station for Grand Rochette? Plus some reprofiling of the ground. Maybe getting ready for the new lift which has long been mooted to go out and up towards Verdons?

Moving the piste patrol office over to a new building by the Funi Plagne building, building a new carpet lift and moving the kiddies area ready for the new Verdons lift which will now be built 2022, (roughly along the line of the old Z drag lift) plus they are having another go at re-profiling to lessen the poling across there. Also some fairly deep trenches for a new sewer. (Although this maybe postponed as well) Obviously like everything else all delayed by Covid, it remains to be seen how much work will get done. Hopefully the new parts for the Envers chairlift will arrive in time for the new season...
