This seems to be at the top of the Lech Weibermahd lift which you can download if you want to go over to Warth/Schrocken if you don't want to risk skiing down the Weibermahd piste and loading the crossover to W/S from the lift base (insert large smiley here).

Any ideas of forecast for the next few days/week?
Thanks

Glass half full - it's going to be the snowiest place in the Alps for the next 3-4 days, forecast looks to be over 1m of snow on the peaks. Also strong possibility of white Christmas Eve in town (and there is already snow on the ground so it will be very christmassy). From Christmas Day there will be beautiful blue skies to enjoy all that new snow.
Glass half empty - you're gonna get wet at some point Saturday-Monday as it will be raining in St Anton town and for the first few hundred meters of vertical. Also strong winds at the top during this time might lead to lift closures.
Anyone arriving from Christmas Day is going to have an amazing time (albeit with a large number of other people, including me )

Odd day in Lech today - most of the high lifts closed by gale force winds but flat calm lower down. The snow turned to rain at Oberlech level from lunchtime on and got progressively heavier through the afternoon. Lech village has gone from beautifully white to extremely slushy.

Yeah, the weather came in on the St Anton side after lunch. Some higher lifts were shut due to wind and it started to snow, but it was wet, sticky snow. Raining down in town, and still is now.

Is this type of rain typical for the Arlberg at this time of the year? I noticed the number of runs open for skiing dropped something like 100km. For someone who has never skied in the area before, this seems like a big drop.

Weather conditions yesterday meant the closure of a lot of the higher lifts, and therefore the runs accessed from those lifts. The rain is not normal.

Rain is quite normal in December. Known in german as “Weihnachts-Tauwetter”. “Christmas thaw”
And not just @ Arlberg, everywhere in the Alps. It is a bit much though this year...
Pisteclosures are mainly due to liftclosures which are due to wind.
All pistes are still white!

Was woken up in st Anton at 6.30am by a nearby avalanche blast (we’re staying just above town). Tipping it down with rain.
Went back to sleep and at 8am it is snowing hard! Lots of blasting going on all around. Only local lifts going to be available for opening (lifts just above town, Rendl sector)

Contrary to what @stanton says (again), this morning 07.00 rain turned into very heavy snow, delivering some 25 cm, turning Lech into the Christmas fairytale again. Around midday it stopped snowing, and the sun peaked through clouds, adding to the magic!

Snow stopped in St Anton early afternoon, with the sun out every so often. Around 15cm on the car. Everything is beautifully white again after the rain.
Not a huge amount open today but still great fun, if a bit mogully. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the Arlberg from tomorrow

Wow what a day. When Arlenmäderbahn opened about 11am we were one of the first up it and we played in the powder up and down there for a few runs, knee deep pow just fantastic conditions. Schindler closed all day, prep in progress. Epic conditions right now, very cold and clear. Pistes much quieter today crowds spread out, more open. Kapall earlier was excellent too, as was St Christoph powder. Nice vibe in town, no rowdies yet.

Official Weather
Sunday and on New Year’s Eve, clouds will prevail, and some snowfall is repeatedly expected above 900m. New Year’s Eve promises improved conditions. Only few, partly low-stratus clouds will soon disperse. New Year’s Day promises a short period of improved conditions and a temporary increase in temperature. Towards midweek, a heavy wind from the north will provide a period of deeply wintry cold weather, accompanied by occasional snowfall.
