roche1800, we should try and meet up whilst you are out. One of my favorite routes is down to La Roche from the top of Les Coches lifts when the weather is bad and there is plenty of snow around. Send me a PM if you fancy arranging something.

Boredsurfing, yeah, so I've heard. Friend in Bourg says it's the heaviest single snowstorm that's he's seen in a long time. With Les Arcs not open yet it might be fun getting up to the resort tomorrow evening! Glad I made the effort last week to get the right size chains for the car

Boredsurfing, I can't see any images with the code you just put in, just code. Not sure if it is a problem with internet explorer or whether anybody else can see images.
I assume you have copied this link http://laplagne.livecam360.net/montalbert?t=2012-12-05+13:00:00&r=217&z=76&tl=0 from the Montalbert webcan.
It is possible to do the same with the webcams at Roche de Mio and Grand Rochette and show the panoramic view from the selected date and time. I couldn't work out how to display it as an image on snowheads but if you click on the link it will display the historical panoramic view.

Pretty epic! I was watching on the webcams too. I take my hat off to the one lone skier who skinned it all the way up to the top of Grande Rochette just in time to see the sunset. Seriously jealous but bet it was jolly cold up there.
