Realised I missed Voss in Norway off my list - probably because it rained most of the time so we didn't ski as often as we'd liked (after an hour or so we were soaked to the skin).
Would love to try Norway/Sweden/Finland again so am looking through your lists for ideas

I quite like returning to resorts (as my list shows), there's something nice about a familiarity but also seeing what's changed.
I also took up skiing in late 20s (think I was 28 on first proper trip...although to put that in perspective, my dad didn't start until he was 64 or 65)
2012 - Day trip to Blue Mountain in Ontario...it has a lot to answer for, I'd have a lot more money if it wasn't for that day.
2014 - La Plagne
2015 - Val Thorens, La Plagne

2020 - Ski Amade.Zauchensee, Schladming, Reiteralm, Radstadt, Wagrain , HokkaidoTeine, Kokusai, Asarigawa Onsen, Kiroro, Rusutsu , Val Thorens(as long as coronavirus doesn't stop it)
Italics are snowheads bashes, part of the reason I seem to end up in VT even though it's a long way from being my favourite of the places I've visited. And all my trips since my first bash in 2016 have either been travelling or staying with snowheads, which shows how big a help this forum has been for finding me people to ski with.

So, here is my list. I take quite a liberal view of what is a ski station. I count them if a local pass was available at the time I skied them. You can see why the present Mrs Ski Lots refers to me as the skiing equivalent of a train-spotter – I like to think it is said with love. Some of these places are clearly linked to bigger places (although they may not have been at the time). Some I have merely skied through (Dolomite stations), others I’ve spent a day or two at; some quite a few weeks; and a small number, months. This has taken 37 years.
Vinje, Holtardalen, Panticosa, Formigal, Livigno, St. Moritz, Sol Y Nieve/Sierra Nevada, Bareges, La Mongie, Cerler, Candanchu, Arinsal, Pal, Arcalis, Soldeu, Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Porte-Puymorens, Luz Ardiden, Cauterets, St Lary, Piau Engaly, Gavarnie, Baqueira Beret, Hautacam, Font Romeu, Les Angles, Puyvalador, La Molina, Peyresourd, Les Agudes, Wengen, Grindalwald, Murren, Les Deux Alpes, Alpe D'Huez, Serre Chevalier, Montgenevre, Briancon, Claviere, Tignes, Val d' Isere, Les Arcs, La Plagne, Badgastein, Badhofgastein, Dorfgastein, Sportgastein, Kitsteinhorn, Chamonix, Argentier, La Flegere, Courmayeur, La Tour, Les Houches, St. Gervais, St. Nicholas de Veroce, Megeve, Combloux, Les Contamines, Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Les Crosets, Champery, Torgon, Chappel d' Abondence, Abondance, St. Jean d' Alups, Chatel, Morgins, Verbier, Bruson, Super St. Bernard, La Tzoumaz, Sivez, Haut Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon 2000, Glencoe, Nevis Range, Praz-sur-Arly, Flumet, Samoens, Sixt, Morillon, Flaine, Les Carroz, Les Boissons, Notre Dame de Bellcombe, La Thuile, St. Martin de Bellville, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Meribel, Courcheval, Valmorel, Puy St. Vincent, Auris, Oz, Vaunjany, Villard Reculas, La Grave, Cervinia, Valtournenche, Zermatt, San Cassiano, Selva/Wolkenstein, Covara, Colfosco, La Villa/Stern, Bruneck/Riscone, Pedraces, Passo Campolongo, Arabba, Passo Sella/Selajoch, Campitello, Canazie, St. Christina, Ortesei/St. Ulrich, Passo Fazaregro, Cinqu Torri, Passo Ciau, Cortina D' Ampezzo, Malga Ciapela/Marmolada, San Pelligrino, Passo Di Valles, Falcalde, Alpe Di Luisa, Bellamonte, Pian Frataces, Armentarola, Seiser Alm, Predazzo, Pampeagro, Obereggen, San Vigilio/S. Yikes some big lists here!
@Fridge03, don't miss out the joy of going back to a resort. The best trips I've had are generally when I'm returning to a resort. You know which slopes to hit when, the nuances of the resort and which bars are best for post ski beers and which mountain restaurants are best for lunch.

Hello to those who've been to the Pynenees, Cauterets in France or Baqueira in Spain.
We're looking to spend a month (April2021) on the slopes renting a chalet or bringing a motorhome.
These guys are suggesting Camping/Chalets Era Yerla d'Arties in Baqueira or Camping Cabaliros in Cauterets: https://www.jetcamp.com/en/blog/top-20-ski-campings-in-europe/
Any suggestions that won't break our bank?

Welcome to snowHeads @Hoover2020
You'd probably get better observations if you start your own thread with pertinent title as it will likely be fairly hidden in this one.
There's a fair few on here with experience in this subject with some good advice and discussion to help.

Hi Snowheads, I won't write my list here, because it would be too long. I have skied in 649 ski resorts in 75 countries on all 7 continents. I have a journalist and photographer, and my experiences are all chronicled in my two books, Skiing Around the World Volume I--Ski Bum Chronicles and Skiing Around the World Volume II--Collecting Ski Resorts. I think quite a few of you would enjoy these books. You can read more about them and buy them on my website at www.skiingaroundtheworldbook.com. For those of you who seem to also be collectors of ski resorts, these books can inspire you and give you lots of ideas to last a lifetime for your own future adventures. A great Christmas present to yourself of someone you love who loves skiing. All the Best, Jimmy Petterson

Just seen this thread so I will play. I am a saddo who records all holidays and ski trips as I love data so from my records we have done 120 trips out of UK to ski and here is the list of resorts with year first skied. I should add we have been to Three Valleys about 40 times and other large French resorts are mostly multiple visits! The trip to Flaine in 1988 was meant to be a one off but it changed the lives of our whole family. Not sure where/when the next trip will be possible.

After the past two years, can now add Purgatory, Colorado and Crested Butte, Colorado. Crested Butte was amazing, especially once you go to the T-bars and explore some of the more extreme terrain.
Next year, fingers crossed, we finally take our Covid-cancelled trip to Montgenevre, Claviere, Sestriere, etc.
