Has anyone been down Bellcotte North face in the last few days. It looks in great condition and we plan to do it tomorrow. Most important question, what is the snow cover like at the entry and exit points?

cockofthenorth, Funny that, we were on the NF as well, but did not get there till after nearly 1pm as the VE was crazy so just as well we did not try and meet up. We did the Petit Face and had loads of room for Fresh Tracks. Almost top to bottom. Even did the cliff in the forest at the end, Excellent snow the whole way down. Which route did you guys do?
redrunmarcus, Did not know you were up for this, next time we go I will let you know as well in case you want to join us. Bad weather coming again but end of next week should be good. I try to do one of the routes every week. It is such a fun place to go and play.

Just back and can report that the snow in the village in good condition still and still managed to find powder through the trees on the way down. Noticed that the bottom of the blue Montalbert run was open last week which we did. Alot of cultured snow has been prepared ready for the crowds to arrive in Feb (am keeping well clear).
I am amazed that I have spent 22 days in the village so far this season and have not bumped into cockofthenorth, or redrunmarcus, - no sight of them even in 50's legend. Bumped into Mrs cockofthenorth, at New year but have yet to see the true North face men...... AND I wore my bright red gilet all week in the kids area with Emerson hoping one of you would spot me!

Mouth, sorry we haven't seen you yet. When are you back in March??? will have to make sure we meet up or just pop round, I am sure you had a good time boarding as the snow has been great. Today has been windy on our side of the valley with cloudy patches a bit gloomy.

Quick question for you locals: Does Plagne Villages or Plagne Centre have any free lifts on a Saturday? Most Les Arcs villages seem to have one or two but not sure about LP.

sproggski, there was a small free drag on the far side of the Mira piste (to the right hand side of Plagne Villages, looking up!) a couple of years ago - I should think it's still there. Go past the Aeolets drag & it's up a small incline. There's also a free chair on the beginner slope in Plagne Centre. I'm not sure if you need a lift pass to use the Telebus bubble which links Plagne Centre to Villages (I don't think so, but it might have changed since I last used it) but if you don't, you could always ski down into PC & get the Telebus back up

Good day yesterday frsh snow on top of chopped up so some places a bit bumpy -visibility in and out all day- a lot colder last night -6 at 8pm
