Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Not sure you can 'reset' the position of a stomp pad. They're glued on. I guess, just try pulling it off, use a hairdrier to warm it up a bit and a scrapey bladey thing too is how I'd take off the tailpad on a surfboard - they're similar glue types. Try Resticking?
I don't use a stomp pad. I've no problems sliding off chairs and do tend try to be buckled in if I'm on a drag, much more control, easier on the legs and way easier if you fall off.

ntfarmer, mmm, glue will most likely be toast once you remove the old stomp. If it's in the way take it off the board as Rogg suggests, warm it up with a hair-dryer and peel it off, clean up any residue with an alcohol wipe or similar. Get a new stomp and stick it where it needs to be, or If you're particularly fond of the one you've got, strip off the old glue and use something like no-more-nails double sided tape to stick it back down.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Richard_Sideways, 3M make the low temp/high grip adhesive for stomp pads but it's also used by sign makers. Worthwhile checking with your local sign companies for off-cuts. You'll be amazed at how much of the stuff ends up in the skip.
