Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

, mrs was ill today so I got to sample some of the black runs, some very demanding and committing entries to contend with ! Bottled it on one and a couple others were very sketchy with icey ruts and wind blown sastrugi in places.. Went straight up kt22 but bottled the cornice under the chair, Moseley and chute o75 were very steep but good fun, dead tree scary with a couple of jump turns then icy big bumps, saddle great nick. The head wall was wind packed and 45 deg in places I reco but good fun along with north face and Siberia bowls nice north facing chalk.
Lots of lifts shut as they seem to "save" areas for the weekend crowds. Overall lots for everyone from beginner to gullying and cliffs which scared me ! I can see why squaw has produced some hot skiers over the years
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The scary thing is when you see kids sending the palisades and airing the fingers. Headwall Face, the Slot & Hogsback always a good bet for a bit of windblown. 75 Chute is about my favourite run on the mountain - just divine on a storming day, good vis and free refills.
