Poster: A snowHead

marc gledhill, except I wouldn't reccomend carrying your skis on a long journey out in the open - the weather/dirt won't do your bindings any favours

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Yeah, but big polythene bags should sort out weatherproofing. The ones rugs and carpets come in would be grand.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

picture this scene:
2 cars parked on drive - 1 is enormous 4x4 Hyundai Santa Fe & other is 3 door Vauxhall Astra. Which one would you put the skis in?
Santa Fe? yup, me too.
Strangely they fit much better in the Astra cos it has a handy little hole in the back seat through which to poke the skis. No dismantling of back seats required at all. Should be first consideration for any skiers buying a new car.
Let that be a lesson to you all!!

Lucie Axford, living in Haydock I presume your route to the slopes is over to Liverpool Airport, Easyjet to GVA and then on from there. Given the price of fuel in the UK I'd use the Astra, I presume the airport is generally reachable without 4wd ?
