Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Are the Mediterranean Alps still in Europe?

Didn't you know, the Alps end at the Col du Lauteret, some of them don't even think Serre Chevalier exists either. And there's white stuff on their webcams.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Hells Bells, Yes .. I did. I know it's not great down here but at least the mountains are cold (although it could warm up). Nowhere near where it should be and the runs at 1700m are just artificial on the webcam but looks better (so far) than the bikini-clad Austrian resorts, Espace Killy, 3 Vallees etc., so somewhere for folks to go.

(you need to click on the resort cam to see the runs)

Agenterre, of course it isn't wonderful, and could be better, but all this talk of 'no snow' is depressing. Time to crack open the Genepi?

Hells Bells, I think that's my point ... there is snow ... if you look for it ... and few folks will be going skiing in the next 10 days .. apart from ME ... hehe, so loads of time.

Not sure about the Genepi though as well into a bottle of sub-€3 rosay

Despite the complete lack of snow wink, the Monetier sector of Serre Chevalier will be open on the 3rd and 4th of December , one week earlier than planned.
