What happens on a bluebird day when you would rather wear sunnies than goggles?
|
The answer to that is don't wear sunnies with a helmet.
Sorted.

galpinos, so on a warm sunny day, people don't wear their helmets? Or they still wear goggles, hot clammy things for flat light days? I honestly have worn goggles for two days in the last six years (I didn't even own goggles before that). I'm not keen on wearing them full stop, but on a warm sunny day that must feel like putting your face in an oven. I realise you can get different lens goggles for different light days, but these things still cover half your face and allow minimal air flow.
I'm rapidly going off the helmet idea...

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I wear goggles whatever the weather as my eyes water when skiing at a half decent pace. They also provide a little protection for my face. I find my goggles neither hot nor clammy.
Sunnies and helmets do look a bit stupid you must admit.
I suppose I should add the caveat I only really ski in Jan or Feb and I don't wear a helmet. I do always look fly though.

galpinos, ah, you're one of these serious off-piste doods. I'm just a recreational piste bimbler and I frequently get way too hot. Sunnies all the way.
