saw 18 NOB on a Rolls Royce once and the owner had put it as 18" NOB, clearly both illegal and delusional

Saw M4FIA on a Chrysler 300C the other day...Very fitting for the car but very bling/idiotic nonetheless

FastEddie,
I like the car as well and it has this Gangsta look...but somehow put the car and number together and it felt like only a 17yr old racer boy could be behind the wheel..

A personallised number plate IMO advertises the owner/driver as a pretentious pratt .

I like the number plates in the USA that display the State logo on them such as Nevada's 'Silver State' logo or Colarado's 'Summit County'.
Our european plates are restricted to a boring circle of member state stars.
If allowed to do so then every County in the UK could feature a plate bearing its own surrounding logo (c/w existing number) such as Nottinghamshire's 'Robin Hood' or Leicestershire's Fox county for example.
Now that would be more fun to see on a plate instead of a back window sticker.
I don't think that kind of plate is legal in the UK - is it
Rob

Once had T760 SNO, but it was a company car and they would not let me transfer it when it went back.

Sorry, no snow but:
I've seen a Porsche with P155DUP. I'm surprised that one was allowed out of the DVLA.
A few months ago I saw a Range Rover Vogue with 5PAM. I'm surprised that one wasn't covered in scratches.
But the best I ever saw was one my dad pointed out when I was a child - 4COF !!!

Friend of mine who lives in Bucharest has, simply, B 23 SKI on his Nissan Patrol. (I might be wrong about the figures, not that they mean anything).

Last February in Niederau I saw a car with the British registration 'W2 5NOW'. And if you pronounce the W the German way, it reads as 'Vay to snow'.

I saw a burned out yellow Alpha Romeo GTV in a scrappy that had USA 10 about 20 yerars ago. I tried to get it but the laws were different then. Cant remember exactly but it was something like "you hav to resore it"
THe chap that had the duck bay marina in loch lomond had 1upu on his roller (1 UP U) and his wife bought UPU2 (UP U 2).
Cheers

My Mom ( ) had a brand new 'P' reg Escort some years ago (did somebady say '96?) and asked if she could get P155 OFF on the plate, but was told by the dealership that it was not allowed by DVLA.....

I think if you own a range rover its the law that you have to have some kinda personal reg, as they all seem to do it..and they're all seemly ganster related wanna be nonsense.

@ARV
Yep it was Bobby Cawley who used to run Sir Hugh's in Glasgow. I Come from Balloch (loch lomond BTW). Bobby's wife did indeed have it on her Range Rover. The Boys, Alan and Russel have R-rovers adn a 6 series BMW so that is probably what you saw the cawley plate on.
I take it your in Helensburgh? I'm in the west end of Glasgow now.
PS the Alpha was in Eastons scrappy on the way to Gartocharn.
PPS my typos are terrible.
Cheers
