Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Right, they've put some shims on for free. Slightly worried that I wasn't even measured for where these needed to be. The guy in
S&R
literally just made up 2 pieces of jigsaw shaped foam (4 prongs to surround the top and bottom, left and right side of the ankle) and attached them to the liner.
I admit they feel much more solid now and no heel
movement
but seems like a generic solution?
Also, it has pushed my toes slightly more forward in the boot - will this pack out the front of the boot more?

anyone...anyone...
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, there is no material at the front of the bot to pack out as such, if the toes are crushed then you need to thin the very back of the wrap pad...no measurment to be done they have two templates small and large.... yes generic solution but it works
patience patience some of us have jobs to do

Tried these at the weekend. The shim solved the heel lift on the left foot but:
- the right foot now has some slight ankle pain on the left side ankle of the right foot. Does this mean I can't flex my ankle region as much in the boot? Would I need to? Any advice to solve this by shaving down the shim a bit?
- I still feel some foot
movement
when on a slope and I get ski chatter. Is this normal?
Still annoyed that this is happening at all after having paid for the boots and fit a while back.
If I get new boots from a reputable fitter can I use my current footbed as that seems to be fine?
