Well I have just watched this weeks and really enjoyed it. Stuff on Val D'Isere, Mr Bell racing on 2 planks of wood, and looking bloody good, skiing with parachutes, a great race, Jacobellis doing a grb and winning the boardercross. A very enjoyable programme IMHO.

(From the one episode I've caught so far!) what's happened to Ski Sunday is what's happened to Top Gear - it's become somewhat amusing but nothing much to do with motoring (read skiing).

I love the new format - it's much more fun and I now prefer it to CH4.
The boardercross is really exciting stuff and much more thrilling than the ski racing IMHO
As for Graham's race, on the homemade ski's, with broom handle poles against the ironing-board snowboard - absolutely hilarious !

The C4 ski prog presenter gets on my tits, and I could do with less of the advert for the host town and all the rest of the filling. What's the point in talking to skiers who just say 'It's really cool that we're winning.'? "Competitive athletes prefer winning to losing."; tele journalism at its best.

another request for sharing, I set the video to record using videoplus but rhe PDC didn;t work so it didn't record anyone got it? We were really looking forward to it having been in the Espace Killy and seen them preparing the race piste asll week

... and what was it all about last sunday? I've been away and just replayed it on Sky+. A sort of cross between Celebrity Come Dancing and Scrapheap Challenge! The competitive stuff (as far as it went) was good but over half the prog was made up of inane "sketches" that seemed to have more to do with entertaining Graham and Ed than us. Can't believe why anyone needs to see inside Paul Goldstein's gaff when a look inside, say, Julia Mancuso's motor home would have been more interesting and more on message. I wonder how many people watching were wondering who the hell Paul Goldstein is because it wasn't explained (if you've bought Killy in the last 10 years or Nevica in the last 30 you'll have helped buy it). He's a wealthy bloke and good for him that he's got what he's got but they ended the sketch by laughing at people who couldn't afford the super luxury end. All very weird and it doesn't belong anymore on BBC Sport. Should be on Bravo or Cartoon Network. Can't wait for the next one... what will they think of getting up to in Kitzbuhel I wonder!

Personally I prefer that they have a 45min prog with 15mins of racing and 30mins of interesting skiing related stuff than having 15mins of racing and then back over to the darts!. I really like it and I can also persuade the family to let me watch it because it catches their interest aswell. A bit longer would be nice though.

Watched it last night, great fun. Was really great to watch the race and spot the bits where we'd skiied.

They are clearly trying to turn Ski Sunday into a snowy version of Top Gear. All banter and stunts, with a bit of racing. It is good, so far.

Thing is that Top Gear is light entertainment and motorsport is sport. Top Gear is about cars and not motor racing. If Ski Sunday is trying to emulate TG it is failing miserably. Can't wait for tomorrow's licence fee binge.
