I took in delivery of a camelbak shaped plastic bag the other day, addressed to Mrs Z, so I think I know what Father Christmas will be bringing me in 3 weeks time

Bought a Beyond Fleece softshell jacket on a short notice trip to the US. First jacket I've ever owned that fitted right (6'2" lanky s*d) , made to measure in 5 days including delivery - WOW!
Can't wait to try it out but really bought it for late season skiing.

A pair of Patagucci Light hiking socks which are lovely and a pair of Patagucci boxers as we stayed unexpectedly in Chamonix last night. Haven't tried the boxers yet, as I'm lazy and smelly.

bought some Arc'teryx Theta bibs when I was in New York recently - saved about 25% on UK prices.
Replaced some base layer stuff but as much for my cycle commute as for skiing.
That's about it oh but I will get the Fritschi Freerides that I bought in the sale from Telemark Pyrenees mounted on the Atomic REXs that i picked up off Ebay and then I'll have a quiver (with my Stormriders)!
Actually I really should retire my 1994 ski goggles...

Giles, those Hestra gloves are great. Got a pair myself last season and am quietly confident they'll outlast any of my previous gloves.

bought a tony hawk digi helmet cam from ebay, the seller had them up for about £90, but had the make an offer facillity, i oferred around £50 ish just to be cheeky and he accepted. might not be the best quality, but bought a 1gig sd card for it so should get some decent footage. also has a laser pointer so you can see where your recording

ooh so THAT's how they record. That's cool! will have to have a look at that one.
Edit: just seen it, it seems to be the only one which doesn't need a separate recorder, which is a good thing! I might have to follow in your footsteps ther Graeme.
Edit again, hmmmm had to buy one. - What's with all the other ones? they have to connect to an external device! That is rubbish! Oh well, I think this will be a great way to share the mountain with people who like the warmth.

Mr.Si, you might want to think about the 1gig sd card, you will get about an hour of footage compared to the 12ish mins on the 32meg card supplied. i also plan to use mine on my motorbike,
