All I was trying to say was they were great on anything except solid ice. Not hard pack but real solid ice.

It is a shame the graphics of the BBRs were a bit rubbish. I loved the top sheet of my sick days!
I suppose it's a bit like motorbikes, I've owned and loved lots but really if I was to get back on most of them I'd probably hate them now...I think it's called progress! There are a couple of exceptions though.

@valais2, Armada still sell the ARG if you are ok with 133 mm underfoot and a sidewall on 50% of the ski.

One of the longest, widest, full banana skis at the moment, but definitely not All Mountain skis. I love mine, they are more versatile than you would expect, I’ve got Shift’s on mine and they do go up hill well in soft snow for a 2Kg+ ski.
