Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

BA ski carriage

Never ever a problem with BA, but always travelled with Mrs Skimastaaah. Always get two skis and a few bits in the double wheely bag (180cms), most of madam's trousseau fits in a 100 L case, and we both carry 2 cabin bags (one hard case one soft case eg. the Rossi 69'er) that has ski boots, ski pants, ski jackets, gloves socks and her (snakeskin) visor-helmet. All carry on kit will get us skiing if one of the hold bags goes AWOL. As a back up I usually stow away a decent size supermarket shopping bag if the Duty Free is doing a deal on Dom Perignon. Will they accept a standard boot bag, boots side by side, as carry on?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Zermattandchips, you could chance it but this type of boot bag is more than 25cm in either xy or z so is not allowed.

I use a 50lL kit bag (the Rab one with rucksack style shoulder straps)

Boots in ying yang formation, helmet at the end and clothes on top. Length and width is fine and it squashes down to 25cm height. Never had a problem.

As someone else pointed out elsewhere.

One boot in one bag and one boot as the under seat bag. Genius Happy

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks. I’ve just ordered an Atomic boot and helmet bag, width measurement is 25cm. Boots measure almost 30cm at widest point at the cuffs so I’m hoping I’ll be ok. I’ll report back.
