@swskier, good mid-turn balance generally comes from early forward movement, but I'm not skilled enough to tell from your video!

@KenX, my balance is generally too far forward, and I have to work hard to feel more aft/pressure through the heel through the turn. I am also working on trying to move to the new outside foot earlier. All work in progress and fun to practise

@KenX, 4 more weekends for me, plus some bank holidays, but we're away for 1 weekend and possibly a second! I reckon i've got maybe another 5 ski days in me this season.

@swskier, do you use this as your only source of Intel or do you also see a coach?. I kind of feel(probably wrong) it's like using a golf simulator lots of stats

@Baron von chippy, I use it primarily when I ski by myself, which is probably 50% of the time. It's just a game really, but provides a bit of focus.
I also do GS training on the weekend, and have skied some time with a mate who is a Level 4 qualified BASI instructor.
I've probably only used CARV on a dozen or so occasions this season, vs a current tally of 68 skiing sessions.

Yesterday was my final ski of the season, and while I matched my top score, there was no progress.
Very clear where my weaknesses lie though, early forward movement and mid turn balance. If I can fix those, I should see a big movement in my IQ due to the high Edging and Rotary scores.

@KenX, think the edge angle on that was 73, which puts it in the expert tier.

@KenX, Hi KenX I'm at 147 from last season, dropped from 149 by the new algorithm. Got took from behind (and not in a nice way), which put a premature end to this season's attempts to grimly rip.

I think you'd be surprised how easy it is to get a SL ski carving vs an 88 underfoot.

I see fron the chat above I got a 149 in April, so apparently this has been downgraded to 140. It's still giving me a 148 for a Chamonix ski in Feb (can't remember what this was before)

I've been upgraded to Grim Ripper in the app with a move from 149 to 150!
Not sure this counts? Let's see what it says when I actually ski, with the new CARV 2 kit this January
