Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@Astontech, 5 nights? Nope. Only 4 days on snow...not enough to progress

Oh right, so you’d recommend 5 days at least on snow?

I plan to have a private tutor also

I will be about for 2-4 weeks in March btw so will have plenty of time to progress this winter.

I am just wanting to catch up a little to the people I am going with in March.

@Astontech, I would, but if the group can't manage it then its better than nothing. At least the snowdome experience will give them a start. It's a good idea to use a package for a short break as a) many hotels will only do sat-sat or sun-sun, b) group lessons usually start on a Sunday.

Are Club Med offering private lessons as opposed to Group?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I need to get in touch to ask about this, otherwise I will just pay it in addition.

Do you have any club med experience and can you recommend any?

@Astontech, sorry, no Club med experience (I have a flat in Austria and use apartments elsewhere usually) - do a search on here with Club Med Samoens as the key word, it returns 45 results

On the private lessons, that's going to add up to quite a cost (probably over 100 per hour and you will want at least 2 hours per session, but you can share the lessons) and check when they are offered. A quick look on ESF shows they only do them in the afternoon as they will have group lessons in the morning this means your first day is pretty much a write off (assuming you can get your ski and boot rental the night before). Have a look at all the ski schools and ask for recommendations

A full week, if you can do it, is so much easier to arrange and group lessons will work
