Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@SnoodlesMcFlude, a girl from school ended up working for a coroner’s department. She knew a man who had a habit of smoking a pipe while riding his horse. The inevitable happened and she had to x-ray his skull after he fell off.

@altis, it's a risk, but so are many things in life and skiing. I personally manage that risk by choosing when I ski with the mouth piece and having it tethered so that I'm not afraid to spit it out if I'm falling, something that I also practiced to make sure I could get it out my mouth quickly.

This hobby involves sliding down an icy mountain, it's stupid and dangerous but we all still do it because we've decided that reward outweighs risk. Same for me and the camera in my mouth.
