I quite like Thiery Donards collections of movies on Netflix - Don't crack under pressure 1, 2 and 3 - there's also another movie by him too but can't remember the name.

@beenative, is that the mountaineer? If so then yes, very interesting and well done. Especially given as there aren’t many old ones to tell their story.
snowHeads are a friendly bunch.

@ster, that’s the gentleman. Fascinating life and although I’m no climber (happily defer to anyone who is) seemingly contributed massively to the climbing community and quite ahead of his time. It’s a great documentary so worth catching while it’s still available
And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

OMG 80's fashion !! Swallowtail!!!. Didn't start skiing until the 90's but had a swallowtail windsurfer early 80's. and that all in one. Wow .
That was ridiculous, it was great to watch, but from about 12mins onwards -wow - some of the strightlining on the monoboards was impressive and the avalanche at 1430, was thinking before that is pretty risky and then the slope just went!
Otherwise you'll just go on seeing the one name:

I remember watching the Apocalypse Snow films in Dicks Tea bar in Val d'Isere around 86-88. Would go in as around 4 pm for a hot chocolate with Mum and dad. Too young sadly for the night life in there
I've not watched it yet, but I've been an avid viewer of the rest of The Fifty Project so assume this will be equally superb. The gist of it is him and Michelle Parker doing a thousand mile journey cycling/skiing.
Nikolai makes some really good episodes on his youtube channel. The top is the latest episode. Below is fromh is journey to Tirol during the snowmaggedon in 2019.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Huck Yeah, the latest Matchstick Productions release, is on redbull.tv for free. The usual mix of epic skiing that you'll see in their other films, but with a bit of a "2020 turned to sh*t" slant to it
Recently watched "Magnetic" and "Don't Lose Your Nerve" 1, 2 and 3 on netflix. Not just limited to skiing but good watching nonetheless. To be honest once you've seen one, you've seen them all, but I've been so bored recently I ploughed through all 4 films.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@Woosh, the colours and the landscape just make it look like a dreamscape!
