I've commented on previous threads that I got a slipin when my wife was having problems with her big toe joint and would be in agony trying to get the boot on (she's had surgery now which has sorted it out, at least for a few years) - definitely helped her.
Watching Barb's video though, the big revelation for me was his trick of pulling the liner out to get your foot in the heel pocket - it's brilliant. You only have to pull the liner forward/up a couple of inches and then position your heel, but when you push your foot *and* liner back down into the shell, you're right back there - much more effective than the heel kicks (mind you, I still do those too - force of habit). Give it a try if you haven't done so, though you'll need loops on the back of your liners to make it work best, I think.
