@hammerite, nope, it's last year's thread returned from the dead!
For discount codes watch the social media of the major sponsors. Last year Crystal had one.

@Tubaski, thanks.
I might have returned it from the dead, but I didn't put 2016 in the title!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Surprised it's still happening this year- I've seen zero publicity even here where you might expect us to be having a whine about it. Deserves to die IMO.

Ah yes, I thought you were referring to the month (as it's Oct this year) and didn't notice the year was wrong!

I'll be back representing Kiroro and Hokkaido.
Dates are 27-30 October 2016.
Swing by and say hi if you make it to the show.
As to whether it's worth the entrance fee -
I spoke with the Georgia representatives at last year's show, picked up all the brochures and with subsequent emails confirming great snow conditions spent 9 nights at Gudauri resort last January with my better half Nerys.
One of the best trips we've ever been on and the conversation at the show plus the emails saved us immeasurable hassle and far, far more than what would have been the £54 entrance fee for the two of us.
That's just my experience, so worth it in my eyes.
Looking forwards to seeing who's there this year.

SCGB were giving out free tickets last year. Was very nice of them and I am pleased that I went but not sure it was good enough for me to pay the entrance fee. If the free tickets reappear however...

I normally balk at the idea of paying to be sold to (I used to do a lot of trade shows for my old job). But there does seem to be a bit more than the usual trade show stuff going on (pro stuff, comedy, skating etc..). Plus Jnr wants to look at options for when he leaves school either for a gap year or longer term thing.

Semi-tempted, but only if there are some ticket deals floating around in the ether...
**Apparently, the discounts are being held back until they take down the official Earlybird Tickets in a few days time...
