Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I would say they are reds by Italian standards. As you say varied to say the least, but if comparing to French resorts I think that they are easier in general terms. When we were in the area (Milky way) last year they did leave a number of runs un - groomed. Not sure if this was because of heavy snow fall and bad conditions on an evening (when machines did groom some) or if this is a new to leave some like this?

I fancy Sauze next year, after a couple of years in France, but my wife has seen the piste map and says there is nothing for her as it is all red Mad Mad

@Mistress Panda, @kiteman69, as someone who spent his 2nd week on the slopes skiing in Sauze (and the OH had her first week out there) and has been back each year since I would say the reds are Italian and that early intermediates will find plenty to enjoy. Last year was odd as @Bianchigray says in that some of the slopes were left un-groomed but most were not (and that's the first year it's been like that).
