At last Monty looks white!
9 days until we are there and 6yr old Jnr C has been worried she'll be skiing on grass

Nice pics from the archive @Boredsurfing! I think that was a couple of years before our first trip to Monty.
Good to hear there should be some snow in the nursery area as 3yr old Jnr C is looking forward to trying skis for the first time

@boredsurfin, do you have any idea what they do with ESF lessons in Monty if no lifts running? Just wondering if they'll take my daughter up to Plagne Centre for her lessons due to start Sunday.......

Roger C, Hi, The ESF has separate coaches running up to Plagne Centre. However by Sunday things could be different with snow forecast Thursday afternoon through to Friday. http://www.meteofrance.com/previsions-meteo-montagne/la-plagne/73210
Also the snow makers up in the forest were running late into the night and there are some large stacks of snow up there now, I assume they will bring this down into the village centre for the arrival of Pere Noel on Christmas eve...

Thanks for the update @Boredsurfing, I'll keep my fingers crossed for end of the week.
I don't mind if our journey up the hill on Friday evening is a slow one due to the MASSIVE amounts of fresh snow that will have fallen by then

I hope you LP experts don't mind me tapping you for a little local info.
Is it fairly straightforward to get from the La Plagne ski resorts to Aime railway station - specifically on a Tuesday morning in March? eg. are there service buses running up & down?

For those of us that want to hook up in the Paradiski area around the 11th-18th Jan, PM me your mobile numbers and I'll set up a WhatsApp group.
I'll post the same in the Les Arcs and La PLagne threads as well so I don't miss anyone.

Skied across to Montalbert today from BPlagne. A bit of a trek but some beautiful views enroute.it was a bit icy through the trees in the lower slopes and a bottle neck in places but it'll be a lovely run later in the season after another dump☺
