Mouth, mont de la Guerre is a constant red light on the big maps out and about. We went down the Kamikaze and then le Bois I think, a lovely tree run into the village, with one treacherous narrow icy bit, generally OK though with the edges on alert!
Today it felt like the temperature dropped a couple more degrees. A couple of wispy clouds but 95% blue skies and warming yellow sun. No sign of new snow 
Spent the day today in the Montalbert sector (we planned to get over to Les Arcs today but got the buses mixed up and ended up in Plagne Centre when we wanted Bellecote).
Lots of icy patches above Montalbert but there was plenty of snow on piste generally. The Montalbert red was good fun, as was the Fornelet. Loads of skiskools having icy mares on the narrow blue tracks, while I found the reds in better condition.
My boarding mates were moaning a bit but they've got used to the fact we're not getting fresh this week and are working on their switch on piste.
I'm loving it roaring along what corduroy I can find!
Les Arcs tomorrow, it's time to cheer the boarders up.

Had fun in Les Arcs yesterday and Montalbert (icy!) today, but still blue skies.
Meteo predicted a small flurry yesterday PM and last night, but apart from amazing purpley-grey cloud layers hovering to the north east around Mont Blanc's top km, nothing but a few light flakes for about 20 minutes in Plagne 1800. I can only guess from that cloudbank I saw from Les Arcs' Aiguille Rouge that somewhere the other side of Mont Blanc got a dusting, Chamonix?
More blue skies due tomorrow, it's been a bright sunny week but no fresh snow. This is starting to make the runs down to Montchavin and Montalbert in the 1200s really, really icy in places. Good enough lumps of pisted snow most other places to find a turn in. Generally though, it's not been a vintage week for my snowboarder mates and their love of off-piste powderfields, but my edge control has improved on these hard pistes so skiers have been pretty happy.
It's stayed crispy cold still, but the yellow sun seems to warm us up on the chairlifts.
I've heard rumours of a big dump due on Sunday night but haven't got the heart to tell my mates as they'll be in tears!

More blue skies with the odd wispy cloud bank depending on which way you look. If that fabled dump is coming this weekend the place will be superb next week.
Up the glacier at 3400 it was quite icy again today, but there were plenty of patches of snow as I've said before.

Spoke to Boredsurfing, at 11.27 french time. He was sitting in La Ferme in Villaroger feeling smug but somewhat cold. So cold he even wore his helmet (nover seen him in it in 3 years of skiing with him). No one around and lifts and pistes to themselves. Bast*(**d.

Pictures received on my phone this morning and looks like snow on way. Boredsurfing, still wearing helmet and for a record 3rd day in a row he was on first lift.
thefatcontroller, I actually have photo to prove he actually was there - will post tomorrow as my phone connector to pc thing is at work. Snow report looking promising which is just as well as we go back in 5 days

snow report for today
8.30am patches of bluesky
9.30 heavy cloud
10 am starts to snow
10.20 not sure where i am snowing to heavly
11 made it to champagny ( went in for a drink ps i never stop)
12.20 lunch la p centre. snow falling very hard
1.00 droped lower to see if vis improved it did
2.00 skied down to la roche making fresh tracks (50mm)
2.30 clouds drop and snow get harder vis disapears heads for tree runs in montalbert.
4.00 stoped headed for bar.
4.45 starts to rain
5.20 mix of rain and snow
hopefully if cools (+2) should return to snow. i am sure at the top it will be snow. but it is only falling very lightly know.
Have put chains on car for 6.00am leave.

snowplowed, Was throwing it down with snow, ntfarmer has just brushed a couple of centimetres off the car, I had brushed all the snow of it at 4.00pm. Its now 1.5c out but a cold wind blowing.
