Right I have a few questions....
1) are you looking to shack up with them? is this why you request they be single?
2) do you mean your going for 2 weeks or 1 week?

Nadenoodlee,
1. no I could just do without hearing about how their boyfriend does this that and everything else, I could also do without any angry boyfriends making my life any more complicated than it already is
2. I go for at least 2 weeks

Fair enough- however- 2 weeks is a long time with someone you hardly know- might be putting them off!

Nadenoodlee, They don't have to stay the whole time

Yeah turn up a couple of days into it (so he can prepare a welcome) and leave a few days early (but leave the option of staying longer if they like it/him).
|
|
|
|
|
|
skanky, I don't need any notice to prepare a welcome, I have friends who can arrange almost anything that I might need out there, I just send them an e-mail, isn't technology wonderful

D G Orf, that's all very flash, but you can't beat the personal touch.

True but I can e-mail a friend to get say some flowers and depend on their good taste, anything else I need I could order in advance and know what I'm going to get such as chocolates, generaly however I know what the hotel offers, I know what the resort offers and I would not buy a gift for a young lady before I met her.

It doesn't pay to do that with liftpasses. Best to buy a 2-week pass.

you may not have found a sliding companion but you've advertised WENGEN so much so that most of Europe will be there next year looking for you

DGO - yes I have been to Wengen about three years ago with Club Med at the Wengen Palace - a nice 3 star hotel. Did enjoy the holiday but got t a bit irratated by the length of time it takes to go back up on the train after having skied down. Never got round to Jungfraujoch - after considering all the skiing time that I would waste and the slowness of the trains. I can see why people go back there year after year - the scenery is breathtaking.

hibernia, the trick with Wengen is to be careful about the routes you use to get arround the mountain, if you do it carefully you can ski all day without going near a train, I usually like to do at least one journey on the train each day though as I find that it helps to relax a bit going up hopefully in the sun

And of course you can go up the cable car and miss the train altogether. Grant you, it can be busy at times!!

DGO - next time I will bear ( no pun intended - just been reading about bears on the other thread ) that in mind - I must have went up and down at least 3 - 4 time on that train! Properly reading the piste map should help! Thanks for the tip
