Had an awesome ski yesterday over in Champagny. Warm sunshine and great snow on piste. Off piste quite tracked out and crunch.
We did the Le Bois run right down into the village and snowcover was still good all the way down although occasional icy patches.
Fresh snow forecast for the weekend and then due to be sunny again next week too!

Heading out next Saturday (28th) and staying in Belle Plagne for a week. Hope this weekend's snow dump will provide some good snow for my trip!
Would love to see some recent pics if anyone has any 
P.S I have some yaktrax snow/ice grips for my every day shoes - i'll be needing these yep?

If it was just me and the misses, would have attempted to...
But out there with a friend and his family ( kids etc ) so no can do.

We are there with another family, but we usually ditch the children and do the Le Tete happy hour. On the slopes im the middle aged guy with the blue Salomon jacket and the (very) orange K2's. I will be either shepherding a family group of begginers, or following my teenage boy and girl while trying to look like I really still can keep up with them

Greetings, I will be travelling on 29th, to La Plagne 1800, via Chambery with Skibugs. I am meeting up with a group there.

jeremyd, The only ski school in Champagny is the ESF, our kids have been taught by Olivier in the past and he tried to teach us snowboarding at one stage. His English is reasonable and he is getting on a bit now so will probably appreciate what it is like to be 50.

Been moved! now satying at Reisdence Le Vallon in Belle Plagne , is this a better centra location? as cant find the apartments on a map?
Not too fused as was sharing the sofa beds with my mates 7 year old! now we each have our own room!
and a £40 refund, so £270 pp flights tx and accom, and the snows good!

Hi,
Hope you all have a good week!
Skiied Les Arcs to La Plagne today including the run down to Villaroger in Les Arcs. Snow conditions underfoot still really good although occasional icy patches right down low. Visibility was good this morning but getting poorer this afternoon and it's snowing lightly now.
Loads more forecast for the next few days too so should be a good week . . .
