Can anyone tell me if the roads are clear up to Tignes? I have got winter tyres anyway but practised with my snowchains yesterday and they are a right pain in the backside to get on-I am hoping that I will not have to repeat the exercise!

I think everything except Boisses & Brev. I only skied down to la Daille & bottom of the Face in VD though, but rest of Val seemed open.

Only skied in Tignes today. Lots open, but not everything. Not many people here so plenty to go around!

Hello all. I have been here in Tignes since 16.30. Drive was long having not done it before but glad I did it. Eurotunnel crossing was 3 hours late though on Friday which was rubbish and meant I was starting my journey to Reims at 18.15! Anyway hope to see some of you during this next week. Snow looks great rob@rar thanks for posting those snaps. I see it has been snowing tonight so hopefully tomorrow will be a great day!

IncogSkiSno, we arrived at the hotel at 9.30 ish and got a full meal, the only time we got soup before was when we were on the later bus and we arrived in the middle of the night (last year). If you are on the 18:00 bus you will get fed properly.

Hello. Today was a good day for skiing. Nice clear day, bit windy on occasion but far from horrendously windy. Cold though! Nice to have a ski round and get into it again. We went into the Taverne des Neiges and met up accidently with rob@rar and we skied back to Le Lac with him.
Looking forward to hopefully skiing with Incogskisno etc tomorrow all being well.
