Yes it was either that or a shot of the rickety one seat chairlift at the top of Vogel, but couldn't find a decent shot of that. They had half a meter of snow on Thursday Friday so much relief well have some proper stuff to slide on and it will all look white and pretty. Weather and wind permitting we're doing airport straight to Krvavec. Breakfast in Stansted, lunch up a mountain!

@t44tomo, wow that's a really good transfer - I should consider it for a future trip, but no I've never been to Slovenia, I just followed the trail of clues

Yes the bottom of the gondola is about 8km from Ljubljana airport, so it works pretty well for a long weekend. Chalet owner meeting us at airport with a mini van full of skis and boots! Lose a day on the way back as easy jet is early out and late morning back, but you get more than half a days skiing on your opening day.
Morzine? Guessing as never skied in France.

I was wondering if it was off the side of Combe Vallon? (but it's a while since I went to the 3 Valleys, so might be misremembering what each run looked like.
