andy, I'm waiting for feedback from Mike or Steve Nyman about this. On one hand I can see the point of not being able to eliminate poor performers. I withdrew myself last year because I knew the database mess ups affecting my picks were reflected on the team standing. But one of the people in the team begged to be included but has not yet made a single pick! Others go off the boil for whatever reason.
Fattes13, looks like the race is going ahead - but to be honest I think it may throw up a pretty anomalous result as it will start lower, the speeds will not be so high and maybe a few higher start numbers will get lucky. It may favour the lighter guys as well, unless the wind is blowing straight up the course 
I had a zero race last week because of the problems getting into the site - it happens and over the whole of the series it is not the end of the world.

Well that was a bolt out of the blue - although Nyman has won in Gröden before (a wee while back though)
Not quite my lowest score as I had someone out of the top 30 in my list which gave me an extra 7.5 points Gott sei Dank!!!
And a Dutchie in the top ten - does that mean we will have the Troll crowing all over the place?

WayneC, no I don't think so -did you give yourself a name? We have several no names but I can see the user names when I look at the results. We all have some no results days, it is the nature of the beast. I'm going to have to enter all my selections for the next 3weeks for example this week as I'm not sure if I will be able to access the site from my iPad while in Austria. It is either that or write off those three lots of races between now and when I get home again.
BTW any one with Tina Weireiter(sp) is not racing today at Courcheval according to a press release I read - heavily bruised ankle after a fall on Friday, so she going home to get it treated.

andy, I've read she may be back for Semmering, but also that she is back in the USA for 4 weeks which takes out Semmering ( both technical events which she has not done too well in so far this season). I reckon she will concentrate on the speed events and her preparation for Schladming. She has written off this season and will focus on the Championships and Sochi now.

Actually not as bad as I thought, just outside the top 100 (113) with 6 in the top 10 and one (Poutiainen) in the right spot. Wonder why last weeks (week 6) head to heads aren't in the won/lost scores yet.

briand6868, I doubt it as we are carrying too many who have not bothered. And you have the wrong ID - it is the Briand one in the team sadly (or did you manage to change it around?), and a couple of others seem to have stopped playing. Pity really as with your 6868 ID and WayneC we would have been very competitive. Next year we will have to take more care about who comes into the first team!

Thanks to one of the site glitches I'm still second in country as the site is so sure I am from Argentina it won't let me change it! Still looking at most of the names in there I suspect a lot of the Argentina crowd are actually northern European.

I got Hertsher and Vicky Rebensburg spot on and 5 other women finishers but forgot to take Vonn out in time, even though I'd seen your tip here earlier.  Still managing 13th. Gbr and 230 overall. If you can sort a transfer for your not botherings, I'll happily join in.

Watch out for some of the French ladies EC team coming through before the end of the season. Estelle Alphand, Clara Direz, Laura Gauche, Tiff Gauthier and others are putting in some good performances for 17 year olds

Others have started but seem to have stopped more recently. There are others who wanted to join and are still active who would be assets but that's the way it goes with this sort of thing.
