Austrian prosecutor concludes investigation in COVID-hotspot Ischgl
The 70-page project report was submitted to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, which will forward the act to the Ministry of Justice after an examination. However, a fifth person was listed as the accused. "The ministry will then examine the result and either approve the public prosecutor's office's project or issue another instruction," it said. "Due to the scope of the file", however, this could "take several weeks". Until then, they do not want to give any information about the result of the investigation.
This was also mentioned in the Guardian this morning, first legal case over the events in Ischgl is starting in Vienna https://www.sueddeutsche.de/politik/prozess-corona-ausbreitung-ischgl-1.5413076 . There is a suggestion that the Chancellor, Sebastian Kurz, could be called as a witness, though I doubt that will happen.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
