The dual slalom last night was fantastic. Totally unpredictable, which showed in the scores, but great fun to watch. Also seems as thought the GS from the day before was not included on FSR.

I loved the parallel slalom last night. Really exciting format.
The FSR crew are aware that Sunday's GS has gone missing and are working on reinstating it. They also need to add next week's Super G at Santa Caterina.

Does anyone know how to find where our league is in the rankings? I had 2 really great results today but cant find any ranking for The Hopefuls

The whole concept of FSR has changed over the last couple of years and we appear to have 'lost' any team table and replaced it with meaningless 'leagues' and 'challenges' that I take little to no notice of.
And taking into account just the best 3 instead of the best 5 scores now means there are hardly any weekly changes, and most that do arise are in respect of the Ladies Slalom which has become boringly predictable.
All very disappointing.
Does anybody have an email address for the administrators so that I can express an opinion on the disappointing changes

@codyaitch, if you're on Facebook you can post on FSR's wall, they seem to reply pretty quickly. I was wondering whether the World Championship races were going to be included, I realise they don't score World Cup points so maybe not? I enjoy playing just from a purely personal guessing who's going to do well type of thing. I don't pay any attention to the 'matchups' or 'challenges' or even the overall scores as they never seem to change. An average of all scores logged might make more sense. It would be nice to know where our little league stands in the great scheme of things, we all seem to get our fair share of pretty good results.

It looks like there are only around 200 players worldwide now so if they want the game to continue they need to change it to appeal to more people.

Yeah it loses its appeal fairly quickly , not much skill in it , just pick the top ten and mix it around a bit.
Have ended up just picking for all the races in advance but for sure ill play till the end of season

@lynnecha, in theory the maximum would be 497 if you correctly predict the top ten finishers in the correct order. But there would be bonus points if any of them are ranked outside the top rankings.

First 3 in correct order was a good base of 240 points and all of my 10 picks were in the top 11 but in a different order - and I was still only 5th globally - somebody scored 468 points

As we have commented earlier, the whole game has been dumbed down to little more than selecting the top 10 standings each week and placing them in some sort of random order and the 'leagues' and 'challenges' are just pointless nonsense.
It just seems bizarre that there doesn't appear to be an overall table to see what the best points scores were for example (unless somebody can point me in the direction of such a table)
Unless the game format is improved over the summer I doubt I will participate next year.

Thanks to everyone. As you say - we did it for Sue and she would have been pleased, but also frustrated by the limitations of the game!
I don't think I will play either, but welcome a general chat about the racers, injuries, and of course the Olympics next year. Hope everyone stays in touch.

Me too, although I have no interest in playing a game about it. It's disappointing that there is not much discussion/gossip on snowHeads about ski racing. I'm not on Facebook but follow Ready Racing and BSS on Twitter and look at the FIS site. Anything else I should be looking at, next season? Anyone on Twitter "in the know ", so to speak?

The new World Cup Racing season is nearly upon us.
At the end of last season there didn't seem to be much interest in continuing the FSR league this year.
The season starts at Solden on 28th September and the site has zero'd the scores for the new season.
If there is sufficient interest I am happy to set up a league - respond on this post.
